What Other Well Services Can Cascadian Drilling Provide?
When you contact a company like Cascadian Drilling, you can be sure that drilling wells is one of their services. But typically, this isn’t all that is done by water well contractors. Wells also need pumps, either submersible water pumps for deep wells. or jet pumps for shallow wells. And these pumps need occasional maintenance. In some cases, old wells even need to be capped off. A professional company can handle all of these things along with drilling.
The pump is the most important component of the water system besides the well itself. It not only brings the water up out of the ground, but is strong enough to allow the water to be pressurized in its holding or pressure tank. Depending on the type of well involved, it may include components that need to be replaced every few years. Those who aren’t interested in learning how to do this themselves will call upon a professional contractor to take care of it for them, which is where Cascadian Drilling comes in.
We are occasionally called upon to cap off a well. This is typically done when an old well either runs dry or gets contaminated. It is also needed in situations where it’s in question whether the well will be needed again, such as when farmland is sold off. Farms often have separate irrigation wells on the land that may not be needed by a non-farm buyer, and sealing the now-unused wells is best for safety reasons.
Whenever you need water well services in Salmon Arm, the Shuswap, 100 Mile House, Kamloops, Vernon, Kelowna, or anywhere else in the BC interior, call Cascadian Well Drilling and Pump, who can handle your wells, pumps, and decommissioning. And also take care of any required permits or paperwork for the project.
